Ross Adams is an award-winning actor, writer and television personality known for his warmth, wit and inimitable flair. The antithesis of an alpha-male, he’s every girls’ best friend but also often a much needed softer influence with the boys.
Best known for his long-running role of ‘Scott Drinkwell’ in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, Ross wowed audiences and television critics alike with a hard-hitting storyline tackling the issue of male mental heath when his lovable character attempted to take his own life. The standout episode was the first time Hollyoaks had devoted a full half episode to just one character and as a result of working with various mental health charities whilst researching the storyline; including MIND and the Samaritans, Ross not only became a proud ambassador in raising mental health awareness but also scooped a British Soap Award for ‘Best Male Dramatic Performance’ at the live ITV ceremony in June 2018; the first and only time to date that Hollyoaks has ever won in that category.
Having captured the hearts of viewers up and down the country, Ross has welcomed further media opportunities away from his Hollyoaks role and now has a regular weekly online column with OK! Magazine which has opened him up to an even wider reaching audience. Ross has also appeared on such shows as Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, Love Island: After Sun and CelebAbility.
Ross has taken part in advertising campaigns for the likes of The National Lottery, The Graham Norton book club, Hello Fresh and Audible.
