Kerry Katona is one of the UK’s biggest household names. After joining girl band Atomic Kitten 27 years ago, Kerry went on to have 4 top ten hits before leaving the band to have her daughter Molly.
After a hiatus Kerry stepped back into the spotlight where she became a panellist for two years on Loose Women and presented This Morning. Then in February 2004 Kerry joined the cast of ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ and went on to win and become the first female winner of the show. She was snapped up by supermarket chains Asda and Iceland for huge advertising campaigns after being taken into the nations hearts in the Jungle, where she proved she was a normal, northern, down to earth girl. Kerry later became a judge on the Irish Version of the X Factor ‘You’re A Star’, as well as landing her first ITV2 show ‘My Fair Kerry’.
After this Kerry released the first of her autobiographies, ‘Kerry Katona: Too Much, Too Young’, selling an incredible 750,000 copies. She later released 2 more, ‘Still Standing: The Autobiography’, and 'Whole Again' and a self-help book called ‘Survive the Worst and Aim for the Best: How to Get Your Life Back on Track’. On top of those she has released three novels.
Kerry then went on to have 5 of her own MTV shows and her own show on ITV2 called ‘Kerry Coming Clean’. After the success of these ITV snapped her for ‘Dancing On Ice’ and she then came 2nd on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. In 2013 Kerry rejoined Atomic Kitten, which was documented on the ITV2 show ‘The Big Reunion’.
Kerry went on to appear on E4 show ‘Celebs Go Dating’, ‘Celebrity SAS’ on Channel 4, and won Celebrity Coach Trip.
In 2022 she returned to presenting and became regular presenter on Channel 4's lunchtime show 'Packed Lunch as well as co-hosting BBC Sound's podcast Wheel of Misfortune.
Recently Kerry appeared on E4’s show The Big Celebrity Detox and Celebrity Cooking School, Celebrity Gogglebox Ireland, and appeared on her own Channel 4 show The People VS Kerry Katona.
Kerry continues to be a weekly columnist for New Magazine.
